Millington took two on the chin from the Dukes of Garber High School on Thursday night at Duke Diamond in Essexville. In Game 1 the Cardinals lost 14-4 in six innings and then dropped the nightcap 16-0 in a full seven innings.

In game one, Millington was led by freshman Nick McClain’s two singles and two RBI’s. McClain now has eight RBI’s in his first four varsity games played.

Lukas Selich (2B, R), Kohlton Sherman, Drew Germain, Cole Hill, and Keagan Butterfield (RBI) each picked up one hit for Millington.

In game two, the Cardinals would manage only three hits, one each by Selich (BB), Sherman (2B, BB), and Butterfield.

The losses drop Millington to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in Tri-Valley East play. The Cards return to action on Wednesday, April 16 when they travel to Caro (0-2, 0-2).
