The Millington junior varsity volleyball team picked up a 2-1 win over Reese on Thursday, September 24, continuing its strong home play. Brynnlee Watts and Taylor Watson led the Cardinals defensively with 11 digs apiece, while Aubrey Wascher added nine. Emma Garl led Millington’s attack with eight kills, and Johanna Holzwarth added six. Watson directed the offense with 16 assists and also led the Cardinals from the service line with six aces. Millington will have a break before returning to action Tuesday, October 6, when the Cardinals host Laker at 6 p.m.
