MILLINGTON — The Millington varsity volleyball team picked up another Big Thumb Conference (BTC) White Division victory Thursday night, sweeping Reese 25-19, 25-17, 25-13 at home. The win improved the Cardinals to 14-4 overall and 4-1 in BTC White play. Kallie Stevens led Millington with a strong all-around performance, finishing with 12 kills, 12 digs and six aces. Carly Ehrmantraut added 11 kills to the Cardinals’ attack. Kate Murray directed the offense with 25 assists, while Brooklyn Barden helped Millington from the service line with five aces. Grace Ehrmantraut led the defensive effort with 16 digs, and EmmaLeigh Peters added nine. Millington returns to BTC White action Tuesday, September 29, when the Cardinals travel to Vassar for a 6 p.m. match.
