The Millington JV football team opened its 2026 season with a 44-0 victory over Frankenmuth on Wednesday. Millington’s defense set the tone early when Jace Terwilliger intercepted a pass in the first quarter. Easton Myers followed with a 72-yard touchdown run, and Lucas Fluty added the two-point conversion. Myers also recovered a fumble as the Cardinals took an 8-0 lead into the second quarter. Fluty scored on a 2-yard run and added the conversion to extend the lead. He later connected with Terwilliger for a 15-yard touchdown pass before finding Terwilliger again for the two-point conversion. Millington led 24-0 at halftime. Levi Bobrowski recovered a Frankenmuth fumble in the third quarter. Fluty then scored on a 7-yard run, and Malakai Curtis-Dunkerson completed the conversion pass to Myers to give the Cardinals a 32-0 advantage. Fluty added another 7-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter and closed the scoring with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Aiden Yaklin. Millington will host Ithaca at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 2.
