Jack Shreve capped off his high school athletic career as a Cardinal on Saturday, June 1 competing in the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s (MHSAA) track and field state finals held at Jenison High School. Shreve’s regional qualifying times seeded him 17th in the 200M and 26th in the 100M. He finished 15th in the 200M and 23rd in the 100M. Shreve was able to avenge his regional loss to New Haven’s Myles Wyche as he beat Wyche in the 100M by .01 and the 200M by .03.
Shreve will be representing Millington High School one last time as he competes in the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association All-Star game on Saturday, June 22nd at Saginaw Valley State University. The All-Star game features the top 36 players on each side of the state. Shreve will play outside linebacker for the East team. The game has seen the likes of Andre Rison, Tyrone Wheatley, Braylon Edwards, Jerome Bettis, Craig Krenzel, Mill Coleman, and Anthony Zettel.
